Smartskid Roller Pallet Assembly - latest information results from FEA indicated that the present Smartskid roller pallet design was unable to withstand the required loading condition. The Level 3 design has been modified providing additional structure on the bottom surface of the pallet. This design change has been validated from FEA to meet the pallet required loading. Smartskid Roller pallet - design changes Changes on the socket wall thickness and the depressions on the outer surface of the socket have been removed to provide more contact area with the depression on the roller pallet. Two snaps has been provided for better snapping with the retainer plate. The thickness of the retainer plate has been altered and ribs have been provided to give the desired strength. The modified retainer plate snaps hold the roller ball and in the loaded condition the snaps are not in contact with the ball. |
